I am in 10th grade now, and I am planning on taking the ACT and SAT tests in math in June because this is my last year of algebra/precalc. Should I send score reports to MIT now, because its free or should I wait until I apply and request older scores sent? Will MIT keep the scores until then anyway? (If I do score lower than I would like I can alway retake them and MIT will take the highest score....)

Assuming you are planning on finishing four years of high school before going to college and taking the SAT again at some point, I don’t see a reason to send the scores. If you take the test at the end of your junior year/beginning of your senior year, chances are you will score significantly better than you will in 10th grade. If by some fluke your 10th grade scores are your best, you could just pay the $9.50 to have them sent. I wouldn’t think the hassle of carefully following your test data through the system for 2 years is worth the small possibility of saving ten dollars in the future.

MIT only cares about your best scores, so there’s really no point in sending them… Of course, you could always do what I did in 7th grade - pick numbers at random and see who ends up sending you mail :P
