Can I send AP scores to transfer school?

Right now I am a freshman in a community college. My college will not give me credits for my 4 on the AP Biology exam.

I have 4 schools in New Jersey that I may possibly want to transfer to: Rutgers, Montclair, TCNJ, and Richard Stockton.

I looked on these schools website and all of them accept the AP biology credits. Should I wait and send them when it's time to apply, or what should I do in this case? Are the scores still valid after two years?

I am taking biology I this upcoming semester, but if I am able to do this then I won't have to take it. I am a biology major by the way, and I was told when I was in orientation that they would take them, so I didn't take biology I my first semester. So now I'm stuck taking it this spring and then biology II in the summer.

If I want to contact a 4 year university about this, how should I go about it, and who would I contact?

Is this a good thing to do though? Do you know if it's possible?

The scores should be valid and you should report them, as they make you a more competitive candidate, but whether or not you’ll receive credit for them when your transcript is articulated depends on the school. AP credits rarely transfer, if ever, so check with each school you’re applying to and see what their policies are.

You need to contact each school, as the policy may differ. The admissions office should have the answer for this, as it something that would be routinely asked.

Most likely they will take the AP credit, but I am not sure what that will mean for your next semester at CC.
