I am going to apply to multiple schools that require ACT with writing; however, do ALL of the scores that I send have to have writing, or just one?

April ACT:
C:33
E:35
M:30
R:36
S:30
W:?? Probably 10

State ACT:
C:33
E:34
M:34
R:33
S:32

I feel much better about the second score without writing considering I want to apply to an engineering field. If I send both scores, would schools only look at the top score with writing or also weigh the second one? Thanks!

It really depends. Check out the short list of schools that superscore ACT if your intended schools are on it. If yes, then you should submit both. Second, check if the school requires writing in ACT and single sitting result, if yes, definite submit the first one. You may also send in the second one or a great score in SAT2 Math2 and a science subject. Your first test showed relative weakness in Math and Science. They are better in the second attempt. If you have great scores in subject tests, it will compensate that. After all, most schools would consider your best scores (even not superscoring), so submitting both scores would not hurt your chance at all.
