Can I send in additional information?

First off, is it okay to send in additional information? UVA is my top choice and I wrote a short letter stressing why it is such a good fit for me, it can't hurt to send this in, can it? I realize it is late in the college admission season, but I recently went to the Virginia/D.C. area and I had an urge to write why I would absolutely love to go to UVA, it ended up being a pretty great letter, but i don't want to send it in if it's going to upset admissions..

Second, would it be better for me to email it or to mail it in? I want to make sure it is actually read and not just dismissed, and I heard colleges don't always take emails into consideration. But an email might me more efficient than a letter, right?

We’re paperless. Email it!

Filing an electronic document doesn’t take very long. Mail would have to get her, get scanned, then get linked to your file.

Does that mean it’s okay for me to send in this letter?

I really don’t want to annoy admissions or seem TOO eager!

One question about this - what is the email address the updates should go to?

Our email addresses are all over our website, waterbox. Both appear in the first section of the application instructions.

[Applying to U.Va., Admission Information, Undergraduate Admission, U.Va.](http://www.virginia.edu/undergradadmission/apply.html)

I emailed mine in to the undergrad admissions email address and got this reply:

“We appreciate this information. In the future, should you have additional information you would like added to your file, please email uvaapplicationinfo@virginia.edu.”

so send it there
