Can I send in my Applications/Supplements on the day of (JAN 1ST)?

Title pretty much says everything.
Since I'm applying to a lot of schools and I might have time to squeeze another supplement or two, would I be able to send my common app/supplements on the dead line/due date? (jan 1st).
I mean, I could sacrifice more sleep or just forgo the entire process, but just curious!
Thank you!

I would send it all in before the 1st, just to be safe.

Ideally, that’ll be the situation!
Thanks!

Yes, even with Early Decision applications, you were able to send it the day of the deadline. If they state a time like January 1st at 12:00AM Pacific time… then yes you can.
Good luck!

thank you!

Just get it in. It’s not as if the schools rent huge shredders and have dumping parties for every document not postmarked Jan 1.

Believe it or not, they actually WANT your application – but they don’t want people toying with them 4-5 days after the fact. Get it?

As long as it’s postmarked the first.

And as T26E4 says, they’re not too nitpicky about a couple hours (if it’s online submission) or a day if it’s mailed in. But don’t push your luck. Call your post office and find out the last time to drop something off and still have it postmarked by the first.

All you need to do is have things post marked by the 1st. If you march into the post office on January 1st and wait in line, they’ll post mark it right in front of you (for all of the paranoid people… me).
