Can I send in my transcripts (Naviance) before my CommonApp?

<p>My school counselor requires all of my applications to be submitted by December 1st, when all of them are really due on the 1st of January, because he wants time to send off transcripts.</p>

<p>My question is: is it okay to send transcripts first and then send my commonapp later? I want to have more time polishing up my essays, and that 1 month would really help. </p>

<p>Do you guys think sending transcripts in weeks before the commonapp would affect how the admission committee process my files in any way?</p>

<p>Nope - as long as they all get there eventually, you can send them in whatever order you want.</p>

<p>My S’s GC submitted school reports, teacher recs, and transcripts to all of the schools he was applying to on the same day regardless of whether the apps were completed or not. As long as you have all of the schools listed on your CA, and on your school’s Naviance (if they use it), you are all set.</p>
