I have not taken the sat yet, but will take it october and november. I am planning to apply early action, so they will see my october scores. However if I am not accepted by the time the nov scores come in, will those scores be considered (including for merit scholarships)? And how much weight do they give to subject tests.

Idk about other schools but thats what I did for Duke and the University of Miami and they accepted them.

Yes I know that other colleges do permit them. But my concern is with rutgers, because they just seem to do things a bit upside down :p

It does not matter when you get accepted, as long as all of your credential are in by December 1st, you will be considered for a merit scholarship, according to the Rutgers website.

if you apply early action and you send in a january sat score which will be received to them in feb, will they still consider it?

rivers,

Q: Will I still be considered for first-year scholarships if I apply after December 1?
No. First-year students must apply by December 1 and submit all required credentials within two weeks of that date.
