<p>I'm currently in the process of applying to colleges. I have yet to finish my actual application or essay. The registrar at my school gets busy pretty quick, so my question is, can I send my official transcripts out to schools before they receive anything else?</p>
<p>Absolutely. Often schools prefer you send at least the common application without essays or a preliminary supplement (if they have one), but as soon as they receive the first piece of information about you, regardless of what it is, they will open a file for you and put it there.</p>
