Can I send only ACT scores even if i took the SAT? Is the ACT respected enough?

Hi guys.

I somehow got a 34 improving from a 1980 SAT where I spent the whole summer studying for the SAT rather than the ACT and here I somehow got a 34

Will it be okay to just send the ACT? Is it respected enough? I am also taking the SAT next saturday

yes, a 34 is great. I wouldn't even show up for the SAT -- sleep in (unless you need the SAT for NMF).

Doesn't Collegeboard send in every SAT you've taken to colleges?

That's if you tell them to send them. Yeah unless you get a 2200+(1450+ for M+CR), I would say goodbye to the SAT. 34 is like a 2300, you're set right now. I would take the SAT with a smile on your face knowing you don't need a good score. But seriously though don't send in your SAT score. I think colleges know that a vast majority of students eventually take the SAT, so if they see someone who only submits the ACT, they might have a few suspicions, but it's not that big of a deal because they'll see that 34 and instantly have a thumbs up and move to your ECs on your college app.
