Can I skip my SAT?

Was planning on taking my last SAT tomorrow but I got sick (out of all the days this year it was today ***....) and I really don't want to blow my SAT because of my sickness. I took a math test today in school and couldn't focus because I'm not feeling too well, scary what will happen on that 2 hour test.

So can I move my SAT test date to November? Will it look bad?

You need to contact College Board to see if you can do that.

If the CB says it’s too late to apply your fee to a future test date, you will lose the fee paid. But, its fine to not show up for the test and that will not “look bad” because no colleges or scholarships will ever know. Failure to appear and take a scheduled test is not reported.

My son did not show up. No report was generated. Next time he registers, there’s going to be extra fee attached to it though.

My son did not attend either, because he got a very good score on his first ACT and felt like he did even better on the ACT retest. His SATs were far lower in comparison, and he felt like he would not do a great deal better. We should have thought before registering for Oct test, but I wasn’t going to force him to take it when he is only submitting ACT test results.

Now you can go to SAT registration, edit the date of registration of your October Test. You’ll pay just about 27, 28 dollars for this change.

I was sick this June and could not take it either.
