Can I still apply for Early Decision ?

I’m trying to apply to a couple of colleges. But unaware that my SATs are on the same day [Oct3] of the subject tests,I have to take the test on Novemeber 7th. Can I still apply for colleges like Cornell,UMich and etc. while still take my subject test.

Check the admissions pages for deadlines for materials, each college may be different.

UMIch doesn’t require SAT2s only SAT with writing or ACT with writing test scores and is Early Action. Most schools in Cornell don’t require SAT2s either.

You might want to hit the reset button with your planning and spend some time on your target schools’ requirement pages.

Looking at your GPA and possible test scores, you should have a frank discussion with your guid counselor. A ~3.6 GPA (UW) is not going to get you very far at UM or Cornell. You should look elsewhere with your EA or ED choices.

My daughter is a freshman at Cornell and I believe the Oct test date is the last date they will accept for ED in order for the scores to get to admissions in time for them to review your application. If you are concerned about this, call your regional admissions rep.

And, yes, Cornell DOES require 2 SATIIs for the College of Arts and Sciences and for the College of Engineering and one SATII for the College of Art, Architecture and Planning (math, any level)

UMich does not require SAT2 but they will evaluate your score for your good. It is fine to apply EA there anyway as they will just defer you if not admitted.
