i have an 80 in physics, we're about six weeks in. can i at least get an 89.5 by the end of the semester????????

Maybe you should ask your teacher or your mom.

We on CC, being telepaths and all, can read your mind and determine what your grades are and what the score percentages of each assignment are for the overall grade.

Ask your teacher who actually has access to this information. No one but your teacher, or if you have a syllabus with a grade breakdown, can answer this question.

the questions on this site sometimes…honestly

love how you people answer to these kinds of questions but not when i need them…sweet

You do understand that this question is not just “hard” to answer if we don’t know specific information about your class, but actually impossible? If you have already been graded on less than 52.5% of the total point value of your assignments/exams, then you can in principle still get 89.5 in the end…this is a trivial calculation, so I’m sure you knew that since you’re taking physics, which requires algebra. On the other hand, you have to be realistic…if you have an 80% now, what do you think is going to change? Most people who have an 80% 1/2 way through the term don’t magically get 100% for the rest of the term.
