The simple fact is, right now, you can’t get into NYU, Nobody can make that happen for you. No NYU admissions officer is going to pick you up off the streets and give you this dream chance. That doesn’t happen. You’ve got to work for it. Do you have a part-time job? If not, I’d start with trying to find one. Next, look into enrolling into your local community college once you get on your feet.

Thousands of kids really want to get into NYU, and they aren’t accepted, and these are kids with great grades, good test scores, money, etc. You need to be realistic about your options.

yea i have a job i work 75 hours a week but its minimum wage

and what cc can i apply to in nyc?

sorry man but you dont stand a chance, my friend got rejected last year with a 4.3 weighted and a 2200 SAT

You need to be realistic. NYU is really not a possibility. Look for community colleges in your area and work on getting a degree from there, or find a four year in your state that you wouldn’t mind getting a four year degree from after a couple years of community college.

do you guys know any good cc in chicago or manhattan?
