can i still get in?

Hi! I’m currently a sophomore in high school and I know I still have a bit of time until college, but I’m getting really paranoid.
sorry if this is in the wrong category!

By the end of high school, I’ll have:

-4 regular classes (1 from freshman year, 2 from sophomore and 1 from junior)
*sophomore year, they forced me into a regular earth science class because they didn’t offer honors

-5 honor classes (3 freshman year, one sophomore year and one junior year)

-6 APs (1 from sophomore year, 2 junior year and 3 for senior year)

Will having regular classes affect my chances of getting accepted?

I have a decent amount of EC and I know I can get pretty good recommendations from teachers and can write a good essay.

As for ACT, I hope to get a 30-31 but who knows.

Can I still get into Colgate?

@airfire1928‌ ya bro

I’m confused. If you add up your classes, it looks like 4 classes, freshman year, 4 classes sophomore year, 4 classes junior year and 3 senior year. Is that correct or did you forget to mention some classes?

@milkweed‌ Hi! sorry, my post may of been confusing but heres a breakdown:

Freshman year: 3 honors, 1 regular
Sophomore year: 1 honors, 1 AP, 2 regular
(like i said before, they forced me into a regular earth science class because they don’t offer honors for it)
Junior year: 2 honors, 2 APs and 1 regular
Senior year: 1 honors and 3 APS (and a SCALE business class)

It seems like very few classes per year unless they are double period or extra intense classes. Most students take math, science, social studies, english, language each year; that’s 5 classes. Many college bound students take 6 or 7 classes.
Is your class load typical of college bound students at your h.s.? If so, you’re fine.

@milkweed Oh, I just named my major subject classes! Science is double period and I take Italian Honors up until senior year (don’t know if I should drop it or not). As for electives ill be taking DECA, College Accounting, College Marketing, Business Management, Contemporary Business SCALE and probably more business electives.
