Can I still go as undeclared life sciences without taking AP Bio?

So in junior year I took AP Chem and got a B+ first semester and a C the second semester. I ended up failing the AP test. So chemistry isn’t really a choice for me. I’m just wondering if there are people that have went in as undeclared life sciences only taking Bio Honors and not Bio AP.

Yes, there are plenty of people who go to college without taking AP courses in the subjects relating to their majors.

However, if high school AP courses in those subjects are difficult for you, college courses could be even more difficult, since they may cover more advanced material than the high school AP courses (and certainly after you get past the introductory frosh level courses), and they assume more self-motivation and time management than high school courses.
