I know you are supposed to submit two SAT subject tests along with your application, but I was wondering if I can submit more?

I took the US History SAT 2 and got a 790 on it. I am planning on taking Math 1 and Literature and submitting them both. Since Math 1 is considered “easy” (even with the 780-800 I plan on getting), I wanted to supplement it with a harder test. Will the admissions office look at all 3 SAT subject tests or will they just take my two highest scores and ignore the other test?

you can submit as many as you want. Officially, they look at the highest two, but a really low score can’t help but be noticed.

btw: if you have completed precalc, I strongly recommend M2 instead, which has a much better curve. And if you are considering CSOM, M2 is highly recommended, IMO.

I don’t think it would hurt. I sent in 3 and my scores weren’t as high as yours and I was accepted.
French 700, US History 720, Math 2 740
I actually think I sent in 5… I took French twice (600 → 700) and Math 2 twice as well (690 → 740)

Submit all your scores. As said before the school only “officially” looks at the top scores, but they see all of them and it can help. I also agree with the recommendation to take Math 2. It’s harder, but I think it carries more weight than Math 1.

Dear vivianvolka : One recommendation that is often missed is taking a foreign language SAT II exam. A 550 score will allow you to place-out of your language requirement in CAS which does help to create some additional flexibility in your scheduling. While I would not recommend just standing with a 550 score as one of your core SAT II submissions, having this grade in your board score portfolio might prove very useful.
