Can I submit my ED form after the deadline?

I can’t get my counselor to sign my form until Nov 2nd? Does anyone know if I can finish my CA before the deadline and turn that in later?

Additionally, you don’t have to answer this, but does anyone want to give me some advice if I am a competitive enough applicant?

SAT: 2140 (3 tries, but scored less than 700 on math)
ACT: 33 composite (31 in one sitting)
My school doesn’t rank, and it does grades on a 100 point scale, using your weighted grade (weird) which is a 96. Many students have above a 100 avg.
13 APs by end of senior year.
Recs that I believe will be really good.
I have no awards-- like none.
Additionally I have some Club leadership, but they are very unorthodox clubs (e.g I founded a Philosophy Club). I did not have the more common stuff like Debate, Science Oly, Math Team, however, I did participate in Model U.N.
No legacy, Asian American student. Parents have college degrees, but from different countries, and older sibling have college degrees.

If you truly want to be considered for ED, DO NOT wait to submit your application.
I don’t know Dartmouth’s requirements specifically, but most schools will not penalize you for supplementary material that is out of your control (i.e. counselor & teacher recs, etc) reaching them a few days beyond the due date. However, you are responsible for submitting your CA on time.

Submit your app on time. Most (but not all) colleges will give a grace period for items outside of your control. like recs.

I’m probably too late in answering your question… but I did submit all the other necessary materials before the deadline, except for the ED Agreement (my counselor could not find the link to do it). And before my counselor could submit the form online, I had an confirmation email from D that told me I was considered for Early Decision. So yup, try to get your counselor to submit the form asap, but it would not affect the ED status, based on my experience.

Good luck!
