Can I submit my transcript before the common app?? Will it hurt to send my scores/other documents before my common app?

I’m sure you can send your transcript first. I sent my transcript and scores about a month before my Common App and all my stuff was in my schools’ systems (although it took Ohio State a little while to match up my stuff, ugh), and I don’t see how that could hurt you in the eyes of the admissions committee.

Well, you can’t (or shouldn’t) send your transcript; that’s your GC’s job. Can the transcript be sent before the application? Yes.

Not sure what happened here, but yep when I said I sent my transcript I technically didn’t I guess–I used Parchment, so I requested the transcripts online and my school approved it and sent them.

Yes, the various components can go in any order and not very close together. Colleges just hold all the pieces until they have a complete app to review.
