Can I submit only one recommendation letter?

Hi everyone,
I currently plan to apply universities via common app.
And I have a problem on recommendation letter.. I will be economics in major and
got a letter from math teacher and a letter from history teacher.. but while the letter from
my math teacher is awesome (mostly excellent) and the letter from the counselor is good as well, the letter from my history teacher (who already left the school) is quite terrible.. (mostly average or above average) (I looked the paper letters that I sent to universities where do not have common app system.)
Should I just upload only counselor's recommendation and math teacher's recommendation? Or history teacher's recommendation as well..?? I will apply for Emory (ED2), NYU, Northwestern, Notre Dame, SUNY Binghamton, Northeastern, Boston U, U Michigan, Syracuse and Fordham through Common app.)
I would really appreciate if you answered!

You need to look at the number of recommendations required. For schools that require two teacher recommendations, you’ll either need to get a different one or include both of the ones you have so far.

Yea you should ask a new teacher if you can, pronto! If that doesn’t work out however, be assured that the admissions office is likely to weigh the two more positive ones against the so-so one in your favor.

Also, the common app allows you to choose recommendations individually for each school, so for those that only require one, there’s no need to send the recommendation from your history teacher.

Thank you…!
