because i'm applying early somewhere else, and i would be notified by mid december, which is too late to give letters of rec to my teachers, but i don't wanna pay the $75 if i'm not going.

so is it alright if my teacher reports and secondary school report arrive before my online app?

this is a question to ask the admissions office, and not folks on here. so do not take it as officialdom anything said here (even what i say).

my guess is it doesn’t make sense because if stuff arrives before you apply as they may not be able to link it to your application when you do submit.

suggestion - have them write the letters and let your counseling office hold on to them until you are ready to submit to other schools. might not work for your situation, but it makes more sense than sending something blind and honestly consider that it takes people time to process your application and you are just wasting their time if you don’t plan on applying (being considerate is always a good mode of thinking).

lastly, why would you ever consider applying early somewhere other than columbia ;)
