you can switch. Changing schools is jumping through slightly more hoops than changing majors, but it's very possible.

Even if they won't let you switch right away (you probably can, I have no idea), as a health science major, you take mostly the same classes as bio/pre-med during first semester. So you could just stay in bouve for the first semester and switch for second. Definitely not something to stress about, but give the school a call, they can tell you how to go about the whole process.

Let the admissions office know right away that you wish to change and the reason. They may be able to accomodate you before they do the regular admissions. DS changed from engineering to pharmacy before making the first tuition department. NEU admissions was very helpful and accomodating in his situation!

If you log into myneu, which they should've given you the info for when you got admitted, there is a link where you can apply to switch majors (and schools I'm assuming).

oh snap, thats good news

ill try it day after tomorrow, once my exams are complete

but thank all of you for all of ur help

I actually tried to switch schools yesterday from CAS to Business and I received an e-mail today saying that the change has been made.

I think as long as you have the grades necessary to switch into the major you intend to do, it probably is not a problem.

What are the chances of a deferred student getting into NEU come spring time?
