Can I take 1 test when I'm signed up for 2 tomorrow?

I've read a few previous posts that mention cancelling scores, skipping the test, etc.

A few responses mentioned that if I'm signed up for two tests and I only take one (and leave the second COMPLETELY blank), it'll be okay. The only con to this will be the fact that I will not receive my money for the skipped test.

Will leaving the second test blank count as a cancel, thus cancelling my first test, as well? Will my blank test even be shown on my score report?

This is urgent since (as all of you know) the test date is tomorrow.

I'm signed up to retake US History (My last score was < 600... it was terrible, despite months of studying) and Math 1. I was planning on taking Literature instead of USH after talking to my guidance counselor (and the fact that I haven't taken USH all year!), but I don't feel prepared at ALL for Literature. I only want to take Math I, but am I allowed to do that?

:( Please respond quickly!

Yes, you can only take one test.

You just waste your money, but that's better than failing your subject tests IMHO.

So, what do I do?

Walk in.
Take my Math test.
Don't worry about the Literature and leave it completely blank.

I'll waste the money I spent on that test, but I'd be glad to do it if it meant that I wouldn't have another bad score on my report.

Just walk out after the Math Test. Don't even stay

No, I think that if you don't take one test.

Then they cancel the other one too. I'm p retty sure.
They say if you leave one whole test blank, that counts as a cancellation or something like that :/

are you sure?
has anyone ever done that before (take one test out of two) and not had their score cancelled? cuz thats what im doing tomorrow... :/ im seriously freakde out now.

well, if you're really sure about one test and not the other...

you can walk in and take one test.
then, leave the second COMPLETELY blank.
the only thing is that the money you paid for the blank test won't be given back, but that's better than cancelling a potentially-high score.

Taken from Collegeboard.com FAQ:
I signed up for three Subject Tests, but I only want to take two. What should I do?

On test day, simply take the test(s) you want to take. There's no need to contact us

THIS EXCERPT WAS TAKEN FROM ANOTHER THREAD. so this is definitely right.

wait a sec...if you posted that message then why are you making a thread about it? wow ok...so basically no one knows. great! :/

ok i found the link from collegeboard:

<a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/reg/regFAQ.html#four%5B/url%5D">http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/reg/regFAQ.html#four</a></p>

go there ppl. it explains it. you can take one and they won't cancel everything. wow. this was very excruciating.

But also, the site says that

If you erase all responses to an individual Subject Test, it will be considered a request for cancellation, and scores from all tests taken.

So..I guess....O_o

well your not erasing, you're just leaving it blank. erasing means if you like put in the code and everything. i seriously don't think collegeboard would contradict itself that way. anyways, im gonna find out today and then post here.

Yeah.
I only got one response, so I started to panic.
I looked elsewhere and I found exactly what I was looking for.

So, sorry if I made it seem like I was asking a question I knew the answer, too. I just finalized it and I happened to be right.

Yeah, I just did that today. And it works. So i guess we're both right. And for anyone in the future who's wondering, here's what you do:

only fill out test codes for the one (or two) you're taking

take it (or them)

leave after that hour (s) is over

kissthesky, erasing is talking about if you stay, for example, after the first hour to take the second test. and then erase everything on the second test. then it'll count as a cancellation. and I'M SURE. 8)
