<p>Are you allowed to take a Language class in the spring? (My School goes by semesters).
Or are you only allowed to take them during the fall so that you can take the 2nd part of the class in the spring? </p>
<p>I tried searching our school website, but there wasn't anything stating you can/ can not do that.</p>
<p>It's a little unorthodox, but my schedule clears up quite a bit next semester and I wanted to take a language class, to fill the gap. Anyone tried doing this before?</p>
<p>If the first component is offered in spring, then yes. Can I ask why you thought it might not be allowed?</p>
<p>Just look through the course catalogue - most likely there’s nothing expressly stating that you can’t start in the spring but beginning classes start in the fall and continue in the spring. If level one isn’t offered for the spring semester, you’ll have to wait until next fall.</p>
<p>Why do you specifically want to take a language class? Are you trying to advance in one you already know, or just want to know bits of a new one? I feel like a language is a complicated thing to do unless you’re serious about it, but if you’re focusing on it then I don’t see why not.</p>
<p>As long as your college offers the 101 section in the spring, there’s nothing saying you can’t.</p>
