Can I take an SAT II in January?

I have taken one SAT II. I will take one this fall. My only problem is my third one. I am going to be a science major, so I want to take a science SAT II. I am taking AP BIO this year and it is the only science I would feel comfortable taking. However since, I am taking the class this year, I also need to self-study to make up for the work i will not have completed my january. There is about 2 months between the dec and jan test, which would be so useful to study. Is it ok to take my last SAT II in january. I would hate for a delayed score or something to ruin my chances? Thanks so much

anyone....

Quoted from Princeton website: http://www.princeton.edu/pr/admissions/u/appl/#testing

Applicants must have taken the SAT Reasoning Test and SAT Subject tests no later than the January 2008 test date.

Thank you. My only concern is that other colleges say the same thing, but hint that a january score could hurt you because it is too late. But is it a definite fact that Princeton does not care if my 3rd SAT II does not come until after January?

Well, personal story: I applied ED last year and part of my SAT 1 (how the heck did you receive the Math and CR scores but not the Writing score?) and SAT 2s were missing. I faxed in a copy 2 days before the decision came out and as I called in the next morning to confirm, they were evaluating my file at that moment. So don't quote me on this but I think you will be fine. You can always fax in your personal score report and they will take your word for it until they see the official CB one.

i took an sat II in january and got in
no biggie

thanks...that gives me 2 more months to study

Yes but make sure you do well! You won't have time to retake it and you will have to have the scores sent to them regardless of how you do.

Yea I know, that is kinda scary...but what I think I may do is take it in Dec first, and then take it again in January. And if for some reason I know I am not ready in Dec, I could just take it in Jan...thats the plan.

One more question...I am pretty sure I am going to major in Ecology and Ev. Biology. Do you think because of that I should take the Biology E SAT II. I have heard that Bio class starts with M, so that might be easier to take. So does anyone know if it would matter?

Probably not. They are the same test for the most part. Ecology is easier. Its not gonna show a skill for ecology since all that section is graphs.
