I want to take some courses over the summer in UCLA’s summer session but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to. They seem to put restrictions on UC students who want to take courses during the summer at UCLA. I’m a UCSB freshman looking to get some units/credits in and I would much prefer to take courses at UCLA over UCSB in the summer considering that I live in LA and driving 4 hours a day from LA to SB would be expensive.
Yeah you definitely can, I think pretty much anyone can take summer classes at UCLA if the pre-requisites for the class are met and obviously as long as you pay. There were some SB people in my physics class a few summers ago
UCSB has a program called freshman summer early start but you might want to look into. If UCLA iis more convenient then why not give the folks at the program a call to see if you can enroll?
Just take courses at your community college…much, much cheaper.
