Can I take Honors Level Math/Scienece, even if I didn't get into the Honors College?

I didn't have a high enough SAT to get into Honors/Scholars/Gemstone, etc. But can I still take Honors Level Calc, or Physics, or Chem...

I have/will have 4-5 on Calc BC, Physics C, etc. could this factor in with a 700 on M, 750 on MLII-C, and 34/36 on ACT M, 720 on Chem, etc to put me in these classes..

I really want to take H-Level classes, and eventually after 1st semester or freshman year transfer into the honors college...

is this in any way, shape or form possible?

thanks a lot!!!

Take a look online.....I don't think you can take the H-versions unless you're in the honors program...

"Students not admitted to the University Honors Program as freshman may apply to the program after completing one full year of university coursework after high school."

D hasn't seen a lot of differences in the math or physics h sections. She's taken 4 honors seminars, though , and 3 of the 4 were great.

Wow a 34 ACT and that wasn't high enough. I know a 33 isn't because DS is in scholars, but I would have thought a 34/36 would definetly be high enough.

Which program did you get accepted into, maybe it is not compatible with the program for courses

yes, but the OP states that 34 was only on the Math portion of the ACT.
