My high school didn't get the transcripts ready on time. I'm afraid that if I mail it now, UCI won't get it in time for my SPOP, which is this Wednesday. Am I allowed to just take my transcript with me?

I would advise that you would, regardless if they already have them. You need to be on top of the people doing your paper work, and make sure they are doing what you need them to do. After all you are paying for them.

Does anything bad happen if your transcript is late? My school is ****ing up right now so I think it may be late…

I’m in the same boat as you Ultex…

even if its unofficial, its fine. its mostly so the counselors can see that you aren’t totally full of ****.

even so, unofficials are better then nothing. couldn’t hurt of have a piece of paper with you, unless it has your social or something…

When I went to SPOP 1, there was an official who was collecting official transcripts. I do not know if this applies to other SPOPS, since SPOP 1 was during the day of the deadline for transcripts I believe…

If you have your OFFICIAL transcript with you and you know for sure that UCI hasn’t recieved it then by all means bring it with you to SPOP.

Just bumbing this because im in the same predicament. Piece of s*&t high school messed up with my transcript and uci wouldn’t accept them. Now i gotta wait till their done with their vacation (Late August) until i’ll be able to send in another one.Hopefully theyll let me register for classes…I guess the convention that bad things happen to good people still stands.

wacked-Try going to you school district’s office they may have access to your transcript.

aha will do thanks! I messaged them…well see what happens. First time something terrible happened that actually wasn’t my fault.
