Can I take the AP Spanish EXAM without taking the class?

I have a half-day for my upcoming senior year. My counselor has already assigned me 2 classes per day: 3 AP class and 1 regular class. I also registered for AP Spanish but AP Spanish is offered on period 3, which is after my half-day therefor I can't take it. So can I take just the exam in May without the class?

I am a native speaker. I can read and write. I'm just not firm on it; I'm just average. And my mom can also help me.

I am also dual enrolled at PGCC (community college) and I took Spanish there. With the books that I got from PGCC, it should help with AP Spanish. I already know what the exam looks like, I probably don't need to study until May arrives.

I really don't need the class. And I never took Spanish in high school, I got placed on AP Spanish because I am fluent and I took a test to get into it.

So can I take just the exam without the class?I heard that it's possible. If yes, then I will talk to my counselor ASAP.

Yes, you can take any AP test without taking the class.
