Can I take the Dec SATs and not send in my scores if they're bad?

I was wondering if I can take the December SATs and not send my scores in if they're bad if I've already sent in my scores to colleges. Anybody know the official rule? Thanks

There's absolutely no rule on that issue.

Does that mean I could go ahead and send in my first scores and then send in my later ones if i wanted to?

Undoubtedly you can do that.

If you have already sent scores and then take another test that new test score will not be sent by College Board unless you make a new request to do so either as part of the application for the test or afterwards. Unless the college specifically requests later scores, you need not send them. However, be aware that your high school might provide the scores if you request a mid-year transcript to be sent to a college. Many high schools put all your test scores on the transcript and your high school will likely get your December scores before it sends a mid-year transcript.
