<p>You can absolutely take both. However, I believe they schedule them so that you have to sign up for November before you find out your October scores.</p>
<p>For most schools, November is fine even for their early notification programs. However, some require October scores for those programs. Generally, you have until the January date for regular decision.</p>

<p>I’m assuming your asking if the November SAT would be too late for ED/EA. A fair amount of schools take the November SATs, if you are applying early. But the policy can vary between schools, so I’d check the college’s website.</p>
<p>You can send application before test scores. For regular decision colleges generally accept through December test date; many even accept through January test date even though application deadline is January 1.</p>
<p>As to EA/ED you have to check particular colleges, a number require tests to be completed by October date while many even accept through November test even though application deadline is November 1.</p>
