<p>I know that for A&S, I need to complete a language requirement (1 2nd-level course or 12 credits). I hope to take the placement test so I can use the first option. However, I am planning to take 4 classes and I would like to know if one can take the placement test their sophomore year and the 2-nd level classes as well.</p>
<p>the placement tests are offered during orientation, so it’s better to take it your freshmen year. it’s also good to get it over with so you know whether or not you’re placed into a language class. this way you can plan your schedule around it.</p>
<p>i think if you take it now the scores will carry over if you want to take the course soph yeah.</p>
