Can I transfer credits from my current college to my previous one after just one semester?

I love my previous college, but they don t have the program I want so I left it after a few semesters (I m actually just absent, my status is still active at that school). After a few weeks at the new school, I find it hard to adapt to it, so I want to return to my old one. I only take 3 classes at the new school, all are in general education. Is it ok to transfer credits after only one semester like that? Also, is doing that harmful to my financial aid?

There is nothing wrong with transferring credits between community colleges, even if you only attended one for a short period of time. Financial aid should not be a problem, as it is typically based on the number of credits that you have, as opposed to the number of schools. The only time this doesn’t work well is if you take a ‘funky’ class that other schools don’t typically offer (e.g., “Geography of Eastern Macedonia”).
