Can I transfer from SDSU to SJSU after one year?

Hey! So basically I’m a first year accounting major I SDSU. So far, I’m really loving San Diego and the school, but after a month of being here, I can’t really see myself calling this place my home for 4 years. I feel really out of place and really lonely. I’m from San Francisco, so I can’t visit home as frequently as I want to. It’s crossed my mind that I think it would be a good idea to transfer to San Jose state. After thinking about this, I realized that SJSU might be a better fit for me than SDSU is. I wondering if it was possible to transfer to SJSU after one year at SDSU. I came in with 23 units from APs and after these 2 semesters and some summer courses, I’ll probably have 60 units. What do you guys think?

You need 60 units by Spring 2017 to transfer for Fall 2017. Will you have the Golden four courses completed? Will you have the required major prep classes completed?

You should contact SJSU directly and ask by the transfer process and if it is even possible.
