Can I transfer into a good school?

Current School: Indiana University-Bloomington
Year: Sophomore
HS GPA: 3.2
College GPA: 3.0 - 3.1
Credits Taken: 50
ACT: Composite 25
Notes: I messed up my first semester pretty bad but my GPA has gone up each semester in college.

Do you think i can transfer to a good school? i was thinking University of Illinois, Penn State, University of MD College Park, UW-Madison, University of Florida, or Syracuse

Do you live in Indiana?

If so, why would you want to go to an out of state public school vs. your state flagship?

No i don’t live in Indiana. I’m looking to go to another public school because i just don’t feel at home at IU.

I’m pretty sure that you’ll get into CP. It does depend on your major as your acceptance is dependent on the requirements you have completed. I’d also say that your good for getting into the other colleges, with the exception of UF. That may be a slight reach if it is oos for you.

I am a communications major and i’m pretty sure my classes line up with the other school’s programs.

Sorry to threadjack, but I’m thinking of transfering to IU and I was wondering if you can tell me what you thought about it (pro vs.con’s)?

I am also interested into possibly transferring to IU.
