Thats basically it. I’ll have 56 units at the end of this school year, and next fall about a 15 unit semester. Spring I’d basically just take the semester off and do something like travel, volunteer, intern, work, etc.
Basically, can I apply to the UCs or USC if I will have 71 units?
I mean semester units, not quarter units btw.

perhaps you should frame the question more clearly then. The answer is essentially the same. If you get in, the UC will evaluate each class and figure out their equivalent and apply them toward your graduation requirement. They will cap you at 70. .
