can I use major requirements to satisfy IGETC?

<p>Economics 1 and Economics 2 are my major requirements to transfer. And I took these 2 courses.....Can I use these two courses to satisfy IGETC in social science area? In IGETC social science area, I took Econ 1, Econ2, and Psychology1. In my case, do I complete social science area? Thank you!!</p>

<p>Yes you can. The IGETC is only used to certify that you have GE and isn't connected to your major reqs.</p>
