Can I use my AP credits to skip a semester at SDSU?

Didn’t you ask this question about SDSU just a couple days ago? You need to talk to your advisor when you register for classes and they will help you know how your AP credits work, if it can be used for your major, etc.

For the AP credits that I got in high school, am I able to use all of the credits I got? Or can I only use the credits that are related to my major and the classes that I am going to take in college?
I have no background knowledge about this so I was curious.
If I have AP biology credit and I am not going to take biology in college, is my AP bio credit useless?

What you get in high school is AP scores. When you get to college, you find out if they are going to redeem them for college credits. And you find out if they have any relevance to your major.

I happened to attend a college that didn’t issue any credits for AP scores, although they did pat me on the head and say they were nice, and let me take the placement tests that all freshmen took to figure out which classes to take.

My kid is attending a college that does issue credits for AP scores, although we need to figure out how that all works in concert with the college advisor. It’s one of those tasks on the checklist for “post-high school, pre-college” summer.

Ask your SDSU advisor.

You probably have not been asked to make up your class schedule yet because you have not met with your SDSU advisor. You will meet your advisor and can ask your questions at FRESHMAN orientation.

If you need further help there, you will be given an opportunity to meet with the advisors. It’s really not that hard.

If you need to find out about AP credits now, they can only guess because they can’t confirm anything without your AP transcript.

Work on submitting your AP transcript to the Registrar’s office.
That should be your focus now and you priority.
If the transcript doesn’t come through, before Registration, then you’ll have to wait a while because it takes a while to get transcripts confirmed into the Registrar’s Office.

There are thousands of students attending SDSU so you need to adjust your HS way of thinking and learn to be patient.

You can look up University Policies - San Diego State University - Acalog ACMS™ to find that these scores give the following course credit:

PSY 101 (3 units)
GEOG 102 (3 units)
RWS 100 (3 units)
RWS 299 (3 units)
CS 100 (3 units)
CS 299 (3 units)
POL S 102 or 103 (3 units) (depending on which AP government)
ECON 101 or 102 (3 units) (depending on which AP economics)
STAT 250 (3 units)
freshman writing competency
freshman math competency

Whether any of these are useful for major or general education requirements is something you need to look up yourself, since you have not mentioned what your major is, so no one here can help you in that area. SDSU general education is described at Program: General Education Requirements - San Diego State University - Acalog ACMS™ .
