Can I use my Macaulay essay for the Baruch Dean's Scholars program?

So I got an email today saying that I’ve been invited to submit an application to Dean’s Scholars program at CUNY Baruch. I’ve already applied Macaulay Honors to Hunter College (with no decision as of yet) but the page to apply to this Baruch program says, and I quote,

“Did you apply to the Macaulay Honors Program? If you applied to the Macaulay Honors Program note that admissions decisions will be mailed on March 15, 2015 and submitting an application to the Dean’s Scholars Program will not impact your application to the Macaulay Honors Program. Indicate ‘Yes’ if you would like us to use your Macaulay essay supplement for your application to the Dean’s Scholars Program. Please note that if you indicate ‘Yes’ below, you do not have to resubmit an essay.”

Does this mean that Baruch will automatically consider my Macaulay essays I submitted to Hunter as satisfying the writing requirement for this Dean’s scholarship? Because at the bottom of the page there’s a box to submit an essay, and I was wondering if checking “yes” and leaving the box blank was okay or if it would render my application invalid. Thoughts?

I got the same email and also applied to Macaulay. Pretty sure it’s fine if you leave the box blank so long as you check “Yes” for the Macaulay box because that’s what I did.

@justthatkid‌ Ok excellent, I just did that as well. I was really worried about it so thank you! (:

I would really like to attend to the Baruch Scholars program. What were your stats if you do not mind me asking?
