While doing College Match, colleges want both the QuestBridge App and the Common App sent. My question is, could I use the same essay on both applications? The prompts are similar my essay would work with both.
Do colleges want a different Common App essay and Questbridge essay?
Use the Common App essay to your advantage. It’s better to write about something else so colleges can get a better understanding of you. It’s a good opportunity to put down something you couldnt in the Questbridge essays.
Some colleges, like Yale, actually prefer you use the same essay.
It’s your choice. It really depends how much you like your Questbridge essays.
I’m a bit confused on this too, and there seem to be several different responses. What are you guys’ thoughts?
