Hey guys,
During high school, I shadowed some physicians around at hospitals, private practices, etc. I got to meet a lot of patients and learned a lot of about the medical world.
So for some of my college essays, I have written about some of these interactions on my essays. I was wondering, is this okay? I have not included patient names for their privacy, but I want to be sure.

As long as you do not walk over any lines of confidentiality, highlighting these experiences could really emphasize some great things about you as an applicant. For example, willingness to take initiative in regards to your future employment, drive, seriousness about your field of study, etc. It sounds like it should be really easy to tie these experiences into your personal traits and your future objectives. I think it is a great idea!
