Can I write more than 150 words but less than 1000 characters?

<p>My short answer for the common application is more than 150 words but less than 1000characters.</p>

Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences in the space below (150 words or fewer, 1000 character maximum).</p>

<p>Is my short answer gonna be okay or do i need to make it less than 150 words??</p>

<p>What you should do is write what you want and then look at th e"preview" of the common app in pdf form. If your response fits in the area, then you’re good.</p>

<p>1000 characters is the actual limit, 150 words is the approximate word limit you’ve been given to put the character limit in context.</p>
