Quick question. Currently, I have taken two subject tests (Bio and US) and done well enough on them (770+). However, harvard requires its applicants to submit a third subject test. Up till yesterday, I was planning on trying to get lucky with the Math 2, though I am not good at math. However, I heard that the World History test is offered this december. I have taken an AP Euro class and a non-AP world history class. I heard that the Barron's SAT prep book is the best for this test. However, every bookstore in my town only has the Barron's AP World History Book and I wont get the subject test book till tuesday. Is it possible to cram in the whole book in only four days?

You can definitely learn the book in 4 days! You may not have as great a grasp on the subject as others who spent a year on it, but you should be fine in getting 650+ if you have good work ethic and are serious about cramming this.

Yeah, you can read a novel in a day. Why not Barron’s World History? Don’t be dissuaded. You can do better than 650+ if you’re of above average intelligence and kind of on-the-ball, if you know what I mean.

Cramming a book in four days is possible, especially as you will probably be familiar with a lot of the material already from your two history classes.

Note that Harvard may prefer a subject from a different area - you already have one history. Make sure that this isn’t a problem.

I’d say that you should evenly space out your cramming sessions. If you learn too much in one session you’ll probably forget it as quickly. I’d also say that if you’re really pressed for time World History is not really a good choice. Go for Lit, if you did well on the CR section of the SAT reasoning.
