Invited to work as medical optometric assistant in a hospital in Guatemala for one summer - hosted by Gift of Vision Foundation
Coached chamber music for pay (around 800 dollars earned total)
Performed orchestral solo in Carnegie Hall (New York Orchestra Festival)
Invited by an intensive chamber music program in colorado for last two years to perform (ViolaWorkout)
Performed with a professional orchestra for community events...toured four cities in CA --> in the local news</p>

<p>Just an aside, if you a strong performer, and are of Shepherd or Peabody quality, you may be quite a bit disappointed at the performance instruction (or availalbity of same) and orchestral/ensemble experience at a few of the schools on your list. </p>

<p>I'm assuming you play viola.</p>
