essays- funny thing- i really wanted to go to harvard and yale, however i spent most of my effort on the Princeton and Cornell essays, and that paid off. For Yale I just used my Cornell essays, which was a mistake, and Harvard didn’t give me enough structure to work with. However, as it tirusn out, I fell in lvoe with Princeto nanyway after visiting it.

Interviews- Yale refused to conduct interviews at my school, so i knew that was a bust, and the Harvard interview did not go well as he acted like he had seen everything before and i was nervous since it was my first. However, for Princeton, the interview went great, and I came out with a good feeling.

Recs- both amazing.

Wow, rejected by Princeton and still attending.

You are a god among men.

RagingBull, what is your race?

Finale, are Indian-Americans considered URM or are they considered Asian-americans (ORM) which makes it as difficult for them as for whites? You know so many languages, wow!

Indian-American, as in from India. I think you’re getting confused with Native Americans.

no collegebound is not confused. why would he ask if indian americans are grouped with other asian americans? i’m pretty sure columbus was the last person to confuse indian americans with american indians

indian american is ORM, there is a big proportion of indians are extremely strong in terms of college admission

jimbob1225, because he was implying that indian americans might be thought of as URM’s. Indian is a common name for Native Americans. That’s why finale said that…
