I got accepted to the college I wanted to go to, but the issue is that im in the last semester of my Senior Highschool year and my grades are dropping FAST, I have 2 A’s, 3 Low B’s and a C. Will I have a chance to be revoked when I send in my final transcript. Also are Colleges not able to see your current grades unless you send in your transcript?
Without knowing the specific college it’s impossible to say but in general, as long as you are getting C’s and above you will be ok. Check on your college’s admissions department web site to see if they say anything.
At the end of the school year, you will be asked to sign a release to allow your high school to send your final transcripts to your college. That is a condition of your acceptance. Colleges will not accept a transcript that you send. It has to be sent directly from the school.
No Ds, Fs or Felonies. I suggest you not let those grades slip any more.
The above comments are correct. But take a moment to consider why the grades are dropping so fast – is the material beyond you or have you stopped working hard. If it is the former I suggest you get the help you need to insure that you understand the material well enough to keep your grades from going further down. If it is the latter I suggest that you ramp up your work habits a bit so you don’t risk dropping lower and having a potential problem at the end of the year.
