Can my admission be rescinded?

I was recently admitted to Santa Clara University as a transfer for mechanical engineering. I know I need to keep my grades up, otherwise my admission could be withdrawn. However, I am currently doing poorly in Differential Equations, so I was planning to withdraw from the class before the deadline (This Tuesday). I figured I would just take it again next semester (Or quarter, now), since I am already ahead of schedule math classes (I tested out of Calc AB).

If I withdraw from the class, will SCU rescind my admission? Or will I be able to just retake it there, since it won’t affect my graduation date.

What sort of grade are you looking at if you don’t withdraw? Are your other grades alright?

Call the school on Monday and ask them. They are the only ones who can answer your question. Do it Monday. Don’t wait to Tuesday.

Most likely looking at a D if I don’t withdraw. Other grades are good, mostly A’s. I will contact them tomorrow
