So I applied to a school that is a member of the Common App, but I didn't know at the time. My counselor told me that he's waiting on me to send my transcript to the school since I never listed it in my Common App account. I applied through the school's individual website, but can he still submit my transcript through the Common App if I have it listed or does he have to mail it now? I already let him know but am waiting for a response. I just want to be sure to lessen the stress in my mind.

Thanks in advance.

We had the same problem with my son’s 1st app. We didn’t realize using the college’s streamlined app would not allow his GC to send docs via Common App. I guess never the twain shall meet. She ended up snail-mailing them, but the college also had a link where the GC could have emailed it directly. We’ve also been told that as long as the app was sent on time, the school transcripts were ok to be a bit later.

No. You must submit a Common App Online to the college in order for that college to be able to access your school forms.
