Can not believe it!!!

My friend got accepted into all Ivy Leagues.
His/Her SAT was about 1550
S/he took 3 SAT IIs. All of them close to 750
GPA (s/he said s/he put top 10%)
His/her activities were
President of debate team (s/he has been in it for 4 years but president in his/her senior year)
And leaders in someother clubs. (Key club, 4H, whatever)
S/he got good recommendations from her Eng, History teachers

I thought only special peopl get accepted to Ivies
Although I don't know what s/he wrote in her essays, s/he wrote it last minute with other essays for other ivies. s/he got accepted into all those ivies. Why and How did she get accepted?

S/He was a very special, special person.

And that's all this post really deserves as an answer. Good job, qtip :)

Is your friend a hermorphydite? What a hook.

"Is your friend a hermorphydite? What a hook."

LOL!!!!!!!!!

No, lol
I just wanted to know what that person have done to get accepted into all Ivies, that all.
Hermorphydite.... lol

I still think that the majority of spots at ivies are filled by people with similar stats. She had above average SATs, and her GPA was probably like 3.9 or 4. They say all you need is showing dedication in one or two clubs; she showed that by being in debate for all four years.

Maybe she shouldn't have got into all the ivies, but she's definitely solid.

solid personality in essays, etc.

although why would you apply to all 8 Ivies? that takes alot of time and money. sure ur not lying?

why s/he? you don't know your friend's sex? kinda funny

so that hermaphrodite thing might be true afterall :p

hmm, well that's certainly diversity lol

lol. thats the only hook i would hate to have

I literally laughed out loud at that comment, quitejaded. Hahaha, thanks for that :P
