I want to take Our Family of Planets class. I am planning to take the lecture from 02:10 p.m. - 03:30 p.m on Tues & Thurs. The discussion is from 8:10am-9:00 on Tues. I was like how can I have a discussion before the lecture?? However, Growl let me registered for this class. Weird. So is it possible to have a discussion before the lecture??

If you were allowed to register for the class, then it is possible. Otherwise, they would not let you register for it…

And, just incase you wanted more proof, I have a discussion class before the lecture.

oh really? what class?

Yes, Math4. lololol

My econ discussion is before my lecture on fridays.

I was talking to a friend about it and they said it’s fine.
They discuss what happened the previous class so it actually helps freshen up your memory.

The only time a discussion would really matter if it was before your class would be if it was Mondays. Whenever we have Monday holidays, that’s one less discussion for you to go to (which seems cool at first, but that just means you have more to catch up on during your next discussion).

And like Calikillafornia said, you just pick up where you left last time. I had a Monday discussion for a TR class.

Oh ok. But this is what I don’t understand: if I have a T discussion before the TR class…what will we be discussing if we haven’t learned anything yet??

You’ll be doing review for stuff from last week…

for the first day of school there might not be as much to talk about besides expectations and what you should do to do well in class, but that’s a one time thing…
