Can One Questions Affect my ACT Score?

Okay this might sound a little ridiculous but I'm a horrible perfectionist so it's really bothering me...

I took the ACT for the second time yesterday, and I felt like it was going really well. We were about to go on to the writing portion when I noticed on the last math multiple choice question I had marked two answers. This happened because I ran out of time and had a few questions left so I just guessed, but then I realized the last question was really easy and I knew the answer so I filled it in, but completely forgot to erase the other bubble. The proctor in my room was watching everyone like hawks and had repeated multiple times how we can't alter any bubbles or our tests wouldn't be scored. I was also sitting in the front so I didn't want to chance it so I didn't change it.

So basically I had the opportunity to get one more question right, but I didn't. Will that one question affect my scoring at all? I just don't want it to come down to the difference between, say, a 29 or a 30. I know it probably doesn't matter but it's really bothering me.

Thanks!

If you did really well and if that was the only question then you should be fine. ACT generally gives a curve every year, thus you will see many threads predicting the curve for a certain test. While it’s rumored on whether the ACT gives the curve before or after the test (it’s thought to be before), you should be in a good state because everyone on the forums and in my test center mentioned that the math was “killer” --> a higher curve. Anyways, I think it wasn’t that bad.

Yes. I was one point away in any subsection from getting a 33 on the March ACT. I know one of the english questions I missed and one of the math questions I missed. I imagine if I’d answered either of them correctly then my score would have been a 33. I’m sure you still did great, though. I wouldn’t worry about it.
